Google+ has officially done their first redesign. There is a TON of whitespace now, a different emphasis on the profile image and photos (stolen idea from Facebook?), and a different admin design.
But is it too soon? Google+ just launched, revealed their now famous Google+ Hangout, and is finally making an impact. This rapid change may turn people off…
Are they just trying to get a cheap marketing buzz? If so, that would be pretty lame on Google’s part.

While the front end of the Google+ design has changed significantly, my biggest impact with the redesign is the backend. In the administration section, Google has changed the whole layout. (It feels more like WordPress…) Google also did a YouTube video of this change:

Have you changed your front design?
If so, share the link so we can see your creativity and we may feature it on Churchm.ag!

I still haven’t figured out Google+’s new changes, but I’m beginning to prefer it to Facebook.
Do you have a showcase of any churches that use Google+ pages? It would be nice to see it.

I really like the changes they’ve made. Everything is so intuitive and I confirmed that by walking someone through signing up for Google+ for the very first time. I have made a change to my profile, but I wouldn’t necessarily say its innovative: http://plus.dustn.co
