I had no idea that being a geek was so dangerous!
Here I thought sitting at my computer desk pounding away blog posts, editing audio and developing websites was a safe occupation.
Go figure. It turns out there are plenty of health problems that come with the geek lifestyle:

I’ve worked at a computer desk for…well…I’ll refrain throwing numbers around. Let’s just say I’ve experienced some of the symptoms and they’re not to be taken lightly! Prevention is the key to most of these, so even if you don’t feel the strain now, you can prevent it later by following this advice.

I switched to a graphics tablet many years ago (though I keep a mouse on standby) and the pain in my right right wrist cleared up in about an afternoon.
I use a Logitech Wave keyboard in the office,which has a slight curve, not as extreme as the Microsoft Split keyboard (that’s at home) but enough that going to a straight keyboard feels crampt
I also strongly recommend flux on Windows that changes the colour temperature based on the time of day.It’s gradual so you don’t really notice the difference – until you turn it off!
