We’re back folks!
Our team‘s had a blast creating these podcasts so far, and we’ve really enjoyed being able to answer your questions in person. …Er….in…media? Either way. It’s been a lot of fun.
It seems that we have found favor from the Apple gods and our sarcasm and strange jokes were not too bad! If you haven’t already, you can subscribe to the 8BIT Podcast via iTunes here!

If you have any questions for our next “Ask 8BIT” audio segment, we’d love to hear from you! Example questions could be:
- “Where can I find that way-cool designer’s toolkit Jared mentioned?” (Right here, buddy.)
- “Standard Theme 2 sounds pretty solid. Where can I find out more?” (Just give this a click.)
- “I dug that 8-Bit music that you guys played. Is it available online?” (Definitely. Check this out.)
Comments & feedback are also awesome. Thanks for giving us a listen & hanging out with us on your iPod for awhile!

Awesome advice! After I asked the question, I randomly stumbled across RailsHosting.org, the resource you suggested.
I’ve chosen to go with DreamHost for this site. (I was even able to use the human3rror promo code. Thanks, John!) SSH support and Passenger have turned out to be the keys to success there, and the general hosting interface is pretty nice, as well.
DreamHost is a bit tricky if you want to use a custom set of Ruby gems. The secret is to add a couple of lines to your .bash_profile file. (Check out http://goo.gl/fb/okpA3 for more information on that.)

Thank you guys so much for taking the time to answer my question. This podcast is a really great resource, keep up the good work!

Good stuff, Kylan. Glad you’re digging the podcast and love your tip post.
Sounds like something that could totally go on Code if you’re ever interested in guest posting ;).

Rendering – they should integrate notification services like email and sms. That would be cool. email should be easy (if the machine is connected). And email can get an sms off to you.

That’s what I’m talking about Phillip! If someone whipped up a little hack like that, it’d definitely make life easier.
Good call!

I am surprised Tom knows how to use the internets after spending all day in the fields with his crop and cattle. But he does a great job…and jared is all right as well.

You’d be amazed what you can accomplish over yonder.
