I love beautiful images, even if they are not concrete representations of a known object. I’ve often used abstracts in graphics programs for worship, simply for the texture, the color, the richness, or emotive feel.
There’s a young photographer who has developed a technique that I’ve not tried, nor have I heard of it.

I hate to show my age, but I remember buying DC Talk’s ‘Nu Thang’ album on cassette tape.
That was way before Gotee Records, Jesus Freak and the evolution of tobyMac as a solo artist.
The fact that tobyMac is not only producing, but creating music with an edge, is pretty flippin’ awesome.

We asked you guys to recommend at least twenty church tech blogs, so that we could put together a top 20 list and you guys came through with them. While we had a broad definition for technology, including web development, social media, iOS, and programming, it must be integrated in some part and consistently with ministry or faith.
The list below took stats from their website, social media networks, and Google PageRank to come up with a ranked list of the most influential Church tech blogs. While the formula is proprietary, we would love to discuss any parts of the list.

Facebook has become the world renown flagship of social media with the most registered users, most page views (according to Alexa), and even has a movie written about the business. Of course, social media is not defined by Facebook, but has influenced much of the online networking model for other social media businesses.
That being said, it would seem that many ministries do not use Facebook well. We want to breakdown what Facebook has become and how ministries can use it better.
