McKayla Mulroney is a champion in every sense of the word. Making it to the London Olympics as a member of the American gymnastics team underlines that. Then, you have the medals she won, one of them being team gold.
Wow. Gymnastics is not a sport for the fly-by-nights or the weak of mind.
McKayla has gone viral, too. Her understandable disappointment at barely missing out on gold in vault (an event that she excels at) was clear at the medal presentation; she kept it together, and kept it in perspective when interviewed, but her image is everywhere in ways reminiscent of Lil’ Mama.

Churches always seem to be late adopters to the latest technological advancements, whether it is because of the small budget that simply cannot afford the latest and greatest gadgets, an ultra-conservative interpretation of Paul’s words in Titus that think spending money on technology is poor stewardship, or a simple hate for “the evils of the world.”
But social media has the ability to be an amazing medium for the Church to spread the Gospel, if they do it well.
