When it comes to learning to new technologies and languages, I’m a much bigger fan of learning from something that uses out-of-the-box techniques rather than an academic and/or textbook approach.
Ruby Koans takes the former approach in attempting to not only teach the language, but to teach the Ruby culture, too.
A lot of ministries and churches really try to stay innovative and even tout that they are, in fact, an “innovative” ministry. It’s fascinating to me that it’s not really the case very often.
I believe that some of the best ideas come from the staff instead of the head leadership and yet oftentimes we don’t hear them very well, right (if we were to be so honest).

If you’re starting a web-based project from scratch, I’d argue that you shouldn’t need to provide styles for specific browsers (or browser-hacks) in your CSS, but if you’re inheriting a project, then that’s another story.
Especially if you’re on a tight timeline.
The truth is, the variety of browsers is just as nice but can be frustrating from a development perspective primarily because each one has its own set of trivial nuances that can cause minor issues with styles.
