Did you know that Money Magazine just named software architects as having the best job in the american workforce?
Whoa:
The job is creatively challenging, and engineers with good people skills are liberated from their screens. Salaries are generally higher than for programmers, and a typical day has more variety.
All of that is probably true except the salary part (in ministry). Love what you do and do it for the Lord!

Do you guys have an opinion on how Microsoft has a renewed push into the desktop security space with their anti-malware software via their Microsoft Update?
I know that the likes of Symantec and others are being babies (typical) about this renewed effort but I hold something a little bit different: I appreciate it.
I never liked Symantec’s software (and many of their colleagues’ software) and I’m used to Microsoft. So what gives?
