I blogged a little while ago providing a 101 Starter Kit for Live Blogging Ministry Conferences. That post is still very good. But, I can’t believe I forgot about ScribbleLive as an alternative platform!
I was quickly reminded when Tony Morgan pinged me during Catalyst One Day and asked me to help him hook up ScribbleLive to his blog… he was mumbling something to the affect of “Atom XML protocol.. wah…?”
Yes. Yes. Don’t forget to check these boxes in WordPress:
But, after setting up the system properly, ScribbleLive is pretty self-explanatory. One of the coolest features is not having to create a new account or register for a new one, you can use your current Facebook, Twitter, OpenID account, etc to get started!
Honestly, you have to check out the Features Page to see what’s up. One of the neatest features out of the box is the “on the fly” translation for your Live Blogging… that is just nuts!
At this point, I honestly would have to say it’s my favorite service so far. Let me know what you think!
