Having a secure children’s check-in system is an essential element in providing a safe place for kids and peace of mind for parents. But yet many child check-in systems can be overwhelming and difficult to use, making it hard for both parents and organizations using these systems. That’s why systems like KidCheck is such a solid solution, offering both ease and ease of mind with a system that doesn’t compromise safety and security.
In fact, KidCheck is bringing secure children check-in systems to a whole new level for churches with the new mobile check-in app!
KidCheck Mobile Check-In
I am so excited about the new KidCheck Mobile Check-In. Providing a kid’s ministry with a mobile check-in solution can really turn-up your awesomeness. First off, it makes helping visitors 100% better. Instead of walking families to the ‘check-in station,’ kid ministry team members can quickly and easily check-in guests anywhere! This can also be a real added benefit for church members, too. Don’t underestimate the power and ease of mobility.
Easy for Kids Ministry and Special Events
Imagine showing guests where to drop-off their children while filling-out their check-in information while you walk? And once you arrive, find their child labels and guardian receipt waiting for them? It would be nothing short of #EPIC and an added benefit for churches both big and small.
It even makes child check-in for church members a whole lot easier. Simply input the families ten-digit phone number — or using a scannable key tag — and then choose the children to check-in. The new KidCheck Mobile Check-In brings all the KidCheck secure children’s check-in power and makes it mobile.
Easy for Parents
The new KidCheck Mobile app for iOS and Android also makes your child check-in system easier for parents to use.
Using KidCheck parents can:
- Designate who is and is not authorized to pick up children.
- Upload photos of children and guardians for added security
- Add medical and allergy alerts and notes
- Receive text message notifications at check in or in case of emergency
- One check-in account for any facility using KidCheck
I really like this last feature. It allows parents attending a multi-campus church to easily check-in at any location or even parents who drop-off their kids at fitness centers, activity centers or child care organizations who use KidCheck to use their same account info. Pretty awesome, right?
Of course, the added security of adding photos of kids and guardians is really cool, too.
Finally, for those families who have to pick-up kids in multiple places in a church building or campus, can receive check-in and check-out notifications on their mobile device, as well as SMS text notifications for alerts or emergencies.

Get Mobile, Get KidCheck
If you are already using the KidCheck system, I highly recommend your church consider getting a tablet to start using a mobile check-in system. It not only makes checking kids in easier, but the added benefit for parents using the app is huge, too. For those churches or organizations that have not invested in a child check-in system, you need to. It communicates volumes to visitors and members and insures that the most vulnerable little ‘sheep’ in the ‘flock’ are safe and sound.

Eric, I’m thinking of investing into Kid Check. With their app launch, would you recommend still going for the workstation setup, or should a church just go all out with iPads?
Eric Dye says
I think you would want a main workstation, a place to setup your printer, etc… Also, I would recommend you contact KidCheck and take advantage of a free demo run-through. I’ve done several of these and they always give you an awesome feel as to how they’ll be to work with—and a chance to ask them questions about optimal setups—like your workstation question. 🙂

Awesome, thanks so much Eric 🙂
Eric Dye says
Sure thing. 🙂
