Tony Steward first brought this neat app to my attention and he says of Quickcursor:
As a writer and blogger I spend a lot of time writing in lots of different places. Word processors, websites, emails, project updates, etc. And all of these tools have different shortcuts, rules and looks to them.
Well, no app is a magic bullet, but Quickcursor is fairly close when it comes to giving you the ability to consistently write in the app you want regardless of tool or website. It does this by recognizing the text editors you have on your Mac and and enabling you to give them short cuts.
Then the next time you start to write, anywhere, in any app, even your browser, just hit the custom shortcut and you are now writing in that app.
I’m going to try it out because of Tony’s review – how about you?
Tony says
Thanks for the love John. I’m really liking Quickcursor so far – especially for the kind of “writing for the web” that I mainly do.
