You may have seen a couple of fun, fake trailers going around the net about video games coming to the big screen like Tetris or PacMan. The hype over these comes from the fact that many games, video or board, have been turned into movies recently including Battleship, Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em ROBOTS and Prince Of Persia.
It would seem that these audiences are going to be getting another one based solely on the life of a video game character.
His name is Wreck-It Ralph and he is unhappy with being an evil boss, getting beat up day after day, and wants to try out something new. The film will definitely be family friendly as Disney is a partner in it, but seems to tap into several different gaming platforms and gaming genres.
The concept is perfect for the audiences out there that range from the original NES system all the way to the latest XBox 360 and PS3 gamers. I love how they explore more than just a sudtle understanding of gaming by going into the whole concept of video games.

Is this kind of a movie something that you will take your children or youth group to see?
