So, who are you really without that blog and those RSS subscribers? Are you everything that you’d want to be known for (honestly)?
As many of us prep for Catalyst we’re going to be surrounded by famous people and even more famous blogs. Are the bloggers everything that you believe them to be or something more (or less)?
I’m praying for big things to happen and that God will move dramatically in people’s lives and that people’s blogs (and stats) are the last thing people are really talking about.
Let’s do it.

Amen John!

I think one thing that draws me to blogs is a chance to get to know someone. I know that it is impossible to know exactly who the author of a blog is, as the same with books. But I think that through writing and conversation you are able to get a glimpse of who that person is. I think the hard thing for me is that i get that glimpse and want to become friends with the authors of the blogs I read but don't get the chance to be around them.

I just hope Jon Acuff is as funny in person.

He is.
Despite what the above picture might lead you to believe (though), don't be disappointed when you learn that John Saddington is not really a cartoon.

I hear ya John. I'm new to the game of blogs but that will be the last thing on my mind. Ok, maybe the middle thing. Either way I expect God to move dramatically during this year's Catalyst. Both my eyes and ears were opened up last year to new possibilities. I did not know who Craig Groeschel was or who Steven Furtick was or most of the speakers last year until Catalyst. I expect God to move in people's lives this year just like He has in the past for this conference.
