The Social Media Marketing Industry Report has been recently released and it’s an amazing resource for ministries and a must read for those who are interested in getting (and making) the most out of Social Media for their organization.
Although it’s a report built for the marketplace, it’s application and value can be easily seen once you jump in a few pages.
There’s some good information for both the “veteran” and “novice” so read it with an open mind.
You can download it from his site or download it directly here.
I think it could be a great staff activity to actually walk through this with a team or a select group of individuals, especially those in your communications department, etc.
We can really never do enough in terms of educating ourselves about how to best reach the people we intend to reach through online mediums.
I personally know far too many people who’d rather just go ‘do’ the work of the ministry instead of taking the time to read some research and good resources that could have such a large impact.
How much time do you spend reading research (or doing research) and reading other resources?
