I think this attitude needs to be more prevalent in our technoevangelical circles, but not in terms of “competition” or ego, and certainly not in relation to other ministries.
It needs to be the “clarion call” of the Church as it sees the marketplace’s use of technology.
“I can do what you can’t do. I can do it smarter, faster, better, cheaper, and have a ROI that’ll make you cry.”
I like that.
I think that’s the right attitude.
I get a kick out of that.
That’s why I’m really digging what Twitter is doing and how snobby they are in terms of their attitude against the “big guns.” They have the tenacity to “tell off” the likes of Google.
That’s sweet. I think businesses like Twitter can innovate faster because of their size. I think the Church could learn a thing or two about that.
