Pupil is a visual Q&A service designed to help you answer your visual questions. If you have a question about something you see, just take a picture, ask a question, and Pupil will find you the answer by tapping into its network of knowledgeable members. Pupil users don’t just use Pupil to ask questions, but have the opportunity to give back to the community by responding to questions submitted by other users.
Sounds cool to me!
I have always loved Q&A style services and actually found places like Yahoo Answers extremely helpful in the past, even if I have not explicitly searched the site. Sometimes relevant questions and answers come up in Google searches and that’s often extremely helpful, too.
I am really pleased to see a service like this on the mobile market now, and I think that if the take-up is good then it could be hugely successful. I guess the key with these kind of services is having a good process for policing answers!
Pupil is currently available on both Android and iOS, so make sure that you check it out!
