As we dive into the sixth day of ChurchMag’s Twelve Days of Christmas (learn more), I can hardly believe we’re half way through!
We wouldn’t be able to go these twelve days without mentioning a very well know organization that’s done an amazing job rescuing victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and more.
Here’s a look at International Justice Mission.
International Justice Mission
From the International Justice Mission website:
“International Justice Mission is a human rights agency that brings rescue to victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local officials to secure immediate victim rescue and aftercare, to prosecute perpetrators and to ensure that public justice systems – police, courts and laws – effectively protect the poor.”
Their field offices can be found in Asia, Africa and Latin America, as they “secure tangible and sustainable protection of national laws through local court systems.”
Creative Media
The International Justice Mission has top notch creative media. Their website, videos and mobile app are just a few examples of an organization that knows how to communicate their vision.

When trying to form my own message and figure out web design for non-profit organizations and ministries, the International Justice Mission website is one place I always look for inspiration and ‘advice.’
This Christmas
The International Justice Mission is one of my top choices when it comes to supporting causes dedicated to fighting human trafficking. They even offer an online catalog to ‘shop’ for a friends a family:
The person you purchase/donate in ‘the name of’ will receive a card in the mail (if you order by today — December 15th) or an e-card (until January 10th).
Learn more on the International Justice Mission website and be sure to browse the Gifts of Freedom online store!
