I remember when I started using WordPress.
It was pretty magical.
Like with most things you learn, it comes in waves as you master each level of skill set. Right when you think you really know something, a whole new level is unlocked and you realize that you didn’t know nearly what you thought you did!

So true! And with WordPress’ gentle learning curve, it’s easy for many people to call themselves ‘web designers’ and ‘web developers’ when really they’re just capable of installing some plugins and premium theme, replacing a few icons, switching a few colors, and calling it, “done!” Meanwhile, there are those pros who can code a stellar WordPress theme and then put together a solid plugin boilerplate in their spare-time.
If you’re more like the first example than the second, there’s no shame in it. It is what it is. Just don’t oversell yourself and remember there’s always more XP and levels to achieve on your WordPress journey.
