For the price, you absolutely cannot beat JVC “Marshmallows”. Well, the first edition, and now the latest. There were a few runs in the middle where the design went a little weird, and the cords were shorter. Ugh. But they’re better again.
Best $20 headphones, if you can do the in-ear kind.
Blah, blah, blah, but this is so true. I just refuse to buy more Apple ear-buds.
I lost mine, so I’m rocking free Vitamin Water earbuds I got at a basketball game a year ago. They’re great: it sounds like a tin can, and if you smile, you become acutely aware of the plastic in your ears. But they were free…
You do realize that all Apple Products have a 1 year warranty and you could just take them back to the store? Just have them e-mail the receipt to you so you can pull it up on your phone…
Skull Candy makes some great ear buds for about $20 and they have replaceable rubber ends for different sizes of ears. They sound better than the junk Apple expects you to enjoy music with too.
The Apple (and most in-ear) headphones actually don’t fit in my ears (weird ears I guess), so I usually just use a pair of $10 sony over the ear ones. They last about 6-8 months (depending on how often I use them) and then usually #3 takes over, and I have to get some new ones.

put glasses on that dude, and he is me. I just purchased some cheap replacements today. Hate spending more than 20 on earbuds

None. They’re great while they last, but no way.

ha ha ha,
I have had about 3 pairs, and I can’t find any of them – my son has probably hidden them (he is good at that)
