I’m a runner and am a sucker for some of the gadgets that are available for tracking various metrics about workouts.
About a year ago, I got a FitBit and am a big fan of it. Truth is, one of the things that was most attractive to me was that the team behind the device would be releasing an API for it.
Last week, they did.
The FitBit Public API launched last Friday.
You can register a product, browse the docs, and get started with client libraries over at the FitBit Developer’s site.
