Tumblr has lead to many different creative endeavors that are just absolutely fun. 😀
One that I recently found is called, Source Code in TV and Films, and it’s exactly what it sounds like. They have posted, including submissions from others, screenshots from different TV programs and movies of source code shown on screen. Included with these screenshots, they explain or cite the source code being used.

The HUD in the classic movie, Terminator, it shows a listing of 6502 assembly language which appears to have been taken from an Apple II.

Some WordPress JavaScript scrolls its way on the TV series Strike Back.

The Social Network, a movie about the beginnings of Facebook, seems to have code written specifically for the film.

In the television series, Arrow, they show C source code for calculating the position of Jupiter’s Galilean moons.
