I had the opportunity recently to look into how to do recruiting better for Youth For Christ‘s World Outreach and Military ministries. One big gap there was a social media and online presence that they as employers could use to recruit. In looking into this process, I found this infographic that highlights key points for not only employers to look at but you as the potential employees.
Here are some great points from the infographic that we wanted to highlight:
- 1 in 6 job seekers credit social media with landing their current job.
- 92% of employers are using social media for recruiting.
- Things to include on social media that recruiters like: membership in professional organizations and volunteering.
