If you are running the blog for your ministry, the social media account for your church, or some kind of marketing for your brand, you need effective storytelling for who you are representing.
How do you share a church’s story that might include hundreds or thousands of people over five, ten, or one hundred years? Even more so, this story needs to not only be about what was, but what is and what will be.
The infographic below has some tips and church marketers as well as pastors, bloggers, and social media managers need to listen up.
Here are my favorite points from below.
- Show, don’t tell. A video can explain so much about your message through visuals and words. But you need to do it well, keep it short, and make sure it is concise as well as clear what you are sharing.
- People scan the web, so telling your story well does not mean writing up a long blog post for everyone to have to suffer through. Engage them and respect them as you tell it.
- Put it into little pieces. A story does not have to be told all at one time. Instead, give them insights to little bits and pieces, but make sure that it flows well and remains consistent through out the whole time.

So. Much. Noise.

We should write an ebook about that and make the noise a section. 😉
