Yes, we’ve covered HTML5 throughout the 8BIT properties. Although the official adoption of the specification is literally years away, browser vendors are already building features of the language into their core products and people are already developing applications around it.
With web applications becoming even more ubiquitous, we’re finding many of them targeting the mobile platform and frameworks Sencha Touch is giving designers and developers a serious leg up on building good looking, mobile-ready applications.
Check this thing out…!
The framework is…
- Built on modern languages: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Mobile-ready for iOS and Android
- Data-ready with native support for JSON, YQL, and Ajax
On top of that, you get resolution-agnostic, touch-ready libraries for you to start developing the application fast.
Sure, browser improvements are great and upcoming technology is always welcome but when it comes to the future of software development, this is the kind of stuff that I really look forward to checking out.
That said, how many of you have been developing mobile apps without a framework? Think Sencha is work a try?
