Mark your calendars!
Next week I’ll be hosting a live webinar on April 14th @ 11:00am EDT that’ll cover the development of a social media strategy for your ministry and/or church.
The time commitment is only an hour but I hope the conversations that are created from the event will last much longer!
I’ve partnered with M2Live.org (once known as Ministry 2.0) and their mission is simple: To grow the Kingdom by helping ministries engage with New Media.
This is the first of its kind and is completely free! My favorite part is that each session will provide ample time to ask questions to engage the presenter directly.
Look forward to seeing you there!
M2LIVE is a grassroots effort allowing believers of all backgrounds to come together to celebrate Christ, while sharing and learning from one another. A series of web-based and live hands-on workshops, M2LIVE is designed for church leaders and volunteers interested in enhancing their ministry using the latest in web and social media technology.

Thanks so much John and M2Live for doing this. I’ve got it in PEN on my calendar.

Can’t wait! I first started following your blog after hearing you speak @ Ministry 2.0 in Pensacola, FL last year. Great resources for people involved in ministry!

Is there going to be an archival copy of this anywhere on the web? I would love to watch but will not be able to watch it live because of work.
Thanks,
Patrick
Matt Carlisle says
Patrick. Thanks for your interest. We are considering posting an archive. It’s good to know you are interested.
Chris Carrero says
Great idea guys! But I’m in Australia and the time difference means I wont be able to tune in. Archiving it would be a massive help.
Love your work!
Stephen Bateman says
Sweet I’ll be on for sure!

Is there a way to sign-up? Or does a person just show up at http://www.m2live.org/web/ at the start time?
Also, ChurchCrunch isn’t letting me login. I even had a new password sent to me, but every time I try to login it just asks me to login again. No msg about incorrect password.

Count it. I don’t know where I heard about it before, but it’s been on my calendar for 2 days now.

Oh man… I’d love to attend but I’ll be leading a Google Docs training for our staff at that time.
Matt Carlisle says
Graham,
We will be offering more webinars in the future. Be sure to visit M2LIVE.org to stay up to date. Thanks.
Kristen says
Will you guys be talking about SoChurch at all?
Matt Carlisle says
The webinar will focus on social media strategy development in a church setting. Good idea for future webinars.
PhillipGibb says
Darn, I would like to have attended the Webinar. I might take a peek, but not something I can do at work for too long.
Matt Carlisle says
If you missed the M2LIVE webinar featuring John Saddington on April 14th, it’s now archived at http://www.m2live.org/web/webinar-archive/. You’ll also find interviews with DJ Chaung, Tony Steward and others. Enjoy!
