I seem to have gone AWOL from the last few shares…
Well this week I’ve been getting my church site ultra responsive by converting getting it ‘bootcamped’: http://www.minehead-baptist.com
Got this new site going: http://talentgateway.com (also based on bootcamp) and converted this site into standard: http://rhws.org.uk
I’ve also been working on a christmas story animation using the fab html5/js app ‘hype’ (watch this space for a review).
And I’ve been helping this amazing new organisation, which supports people who have suffered from the loss of a pregnancy/baby/infant, with some FB things and making some banners/badges/twibbon for people to put on the sites/blogs/FB/twitter: http://www.sayinggoodbye.org

This week…
Seeing how close the final release date of OpenLP 2.0 is, I wrote a blog post asking folks to help out[0]. Thereafter I got on a few people’s cases about fixing some bugs and fixed a few myself[1].
After pushing people to fix bugs, I got on with starting the redesign of the OpenLP web site. I started a mockup, and gave some folks a preview[2] of what I’ve been working on.

Wow, I’ve been doing these weekly updates since March (SSS #39)! I haven’t missed one yet, so this week is no exception. http://trinitydigitalmedia.com/other-resources/the-serving-church is a list of the chapters I’m working on. I’ve finished the introduction and three chapters. I’m working on the next one now. My goal is to write one a day at about 1200 words. My goal for church video summer school was 500+, so this takes it up a notch.
God continues to provide, sometimes at the last moment. I don’t view that as proof I’m doing something wrong, but that if I want to follow Christ, sometimes it will be hard.
I’ll take prayers on that, but also about a decision as to whether I can continue a project I’ve been working on for months. One of the people in charge is one of my best friends. I just see some things that feel like foundational mistakes and no one else seems to hear that.
Oh well, back to writing. The hard thing about being an artist is that you often have to go through the “not enough people know about me for me to make a living yet” phase and the encouragement here helps with that.
Since I’ve been blogging daily, my blog has grown. I just need to make sure it doesn’t stop and I hope adding adsense and a popup to get people to signup for my newsletter wasn’t a mistake.
