- Jeremy Smith – released his first ebook.
- Dave Anthold – is took some time to work on his new branded site (Can’t wait to see it finished!).

This week I got a new site launched. It is http://thefreemusicfeature.com/ I decided to set it up because I find myself often wanting to share legal free music I find. I have been sharing a bit on Facebook but links easily get buried there and I figured there might be a bigger audience for help picking through the ridiculous quantity of free music out there than just my friends. I’ve managed to get a bit of content up but still have a bit of design work to do and have to set up a contact page.

Great idea for a site Joanna! Love me some noisetrade!

If you like Christian Hip-Hop/Rap, checkout the free downloads section on Rapzilla.com, lots of good stuff on there.

This week I created a wordpress site to show our ministers how a website for our church could look. I put together a rough header design and added a few pages. We’ll hopefully be upgrading to customise the css of the site and host audio recordings of services.

So last week it was Easter and I was trying to keep out of the digital world and be more engaged in the real world not to mention that my Wife had quite a say in this too. We also had a few responsibilities over the weekend seeing as we both work for our church.
Easter was also used for the official launch of a film project I mentioned months ago called “Jesus Revolutionary” which is a series of 4 films which I produced, directed and edited. Matt Valler explores Matthews gospel and shows some more awesomeness of Jesus.
This also co-coincided with the launch of the Rhythms Village which is a new website for Tearfund’s youth team. I worked on some of the thinking for this while I worked there.

In a spare hour I had on Easter Sat I cut a piece together which I had shot in our 24/7Prayer room. My Wife asked me to cut it after seeing the footage so we could show it during our main Easter Sunday service. I wrote a brief blog post about it and also posted a small gallery of images too:

Great stuff, Mark!
(Like the ‘real world’ stuff — very cool.)

This week I updated the documentation for an open format for song lyrics called OpenLyrics[0]. A couple of open source worship presentation projects got together to create a free format for any worship app to be able to import and export songs, and to encourage interoperation between apps.
The OpenLP[1] project uses OpenLyrics, and is one of the founding “members” of the OpenLyrics format.
We are officially releasing version 0.8 this weekend. OpenLP already uses version 0.8, but we hadn’t yet updated the OpenLyrics site.

This week, spent time developing a new idea for a possible start-up & getting ready to print this picture as a gift — this is only the 2nd print ever for me.
Eric Dye says
Beautiful picture!

I haven’t been that well this week… (stupid me/cfs)
But I’ve been working on a Church site for a client, doing some work for a new charity site and still doing that iOS app!
Eric Dye says
Sorry to hear about you not feeling well :-/
But, you still pulled-off a #WIN!
Paul Clifford says
Okay, you talked me into it. I finished the print version too, so here are the links to both: http://amzn.to/tweetchurch (Kindle) and http://amzn.to/tweetingchurch (print). Both are on Amazon. I meant to post earlier, but I was at C2E2 (Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo). It was quite an experience. In some ways, it was a little like church (more on that in an upcoming article). Today, I’ve got to do my taxes and get my 5 year old registered for Kindergarten, so I’ve got to go.
I really look forward to the encouragement from these posts. Thanks for that. Sometimes I feel like I haven’t accomplished what I wanted, so it’s great to hear that I have done something.
