My daughters and I were watching Wheel of Fortune (it’s educational right?) when this commercial came on:

I, of course, had to call.
You can call it if you want.
The recording told me not to go to a website.
When I went there, it told me not to enter my address and not to click a button.
When I did, it told me that my house was haunted and I needed to click a button to find out how to unhaunt it.
I clicked another button and viola, I got directions to my nearest Little Caesars and the “ghosts” left.
It was fun and got me to participate with a restaurant that I rarely go to.
This got me thinking about how much I love the “reverse psychology” advertising.
How could the church use this idea? Any ideas?

Awesome. Purely awesome. This has made me think. 🙂

I like this a ton.

Should I make a video telling people not to call a 1800 number that I have, have the recording tell them not to go to a website, and have the link send them an email if they click it? Maybe I should do this for a free giveaway. It’s a fun idea.

I’m thinking our church needs to pull this off right before our offering. Reverse psychology in giving? Maybe it’s worth a shot!
