Ruby on Rails is a seriously cool web application framework. It’s been on the rise for several years now and many mainstream applications are built using it (such as Twitter).
One of the most challenging aspects of deploying Rails application – especially if you’re on a budget – is finding the right host.
And for that, RailsHosting.org is a Godsend.
The thing that I really appreciate about this site is although it’s possible to find solid hosting after doing a bit of research, they’ve compiled more than just a list of providers for you. John and I will also be talking more about Rails hosting in the next 8BIT Podcast.
The site includes demonstrations and things to consider when purchasing a rails host. It also doesn’t hurt that they provide updates promo codes for various hosts, either.
Bookmarked.
