I do quite the opposite as you. I use my very busy iGoogle page which has gmail, google reader, weather, news, toodledo (to do list) and several other things on it. Would’ve never worked on dial-up, but pops up very quickly on broadband.

I use Chrome unless I have to use Firefox, so my home page is created by this extension:
http://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/ncdfeghkpohnalmpblddmnppfooljekh
It’s pretty slick. I can post something to my calendar (Google) from the post it note (can be used for regular Gmail or apps). Recently closed tabs are listed in case I want to get back to those pages and any bookmarks I have in my bookmark toolbar.

Fav.org is my homepage…which has now become myfav.es
Icons for all my “first stop” sites which open up in a new tab when clicked.

I use Chrome’s top sites, but really I never even click on them. I should just go blank, because I navigate via bookmark bar or Chrome’s search/url bar.
Eric Frisch says
My home page is my email… might be boring, but it’s still where I like to start, especially when I first open my browser in the morning.

For the past week I’ve been using Google with SSL. http://www.google.com/
And I typically use some form of Google as my homepage.

I have the following pinned tabs on my chrome at work (my start pages)
Gmail
Facebook
Google Docs
Fellowship one
Hootsuite

So i guess that makes 7 homepages.

In Firefox, my blog – but that does not mean much because FF opens up to all the open pages I had before I closed it. One of the reasons why I love FF.
Safari: recently visited sites
Chrome: google.com

ChurchIT.com What else? Used to be our website index page but I already know what’s there.
Steve Grove says
I have my online mailbox – yahoo, as my home page. I almost exclusively use Chrome. I just found out I can’t use Microsoft Office Live with it, though. Firefox would be my second choice.

I use Google Reader, I like knowing what’s going on first.
