Using video to be creative is always encouraged, being able to engage kids with creativity is even better.
There are several markets that lead the way in utilizing video to engage with kids. Watch any show on the Disney Channel or Nickelodeon and you will see some of the best examples of creativity in engaging children. One thing that 8BIT values is leveraging technology to share a message and engage the community.
We love seeing when others are doing this and leading the way.
Enter into the picture Grace Presbyterian Church in Houston TX. They are engaging the children of their church in very creative way.
Check out this interview on how they are using video to engage their children ministry community…
They have produced and recorded two “Backyard TV” episodes and have seen some great response from the community and the kids.
The idea behind the videos is to engage with children throughout the week and share scripture with them in a very creative way.

Again…so thankful to see churches embracing creativity in their approach to ministry. Video and media are the flannel graph of our generation! 🙂
