One of the coolest things about The 8BIT Network is that many of us in the community work on a lot of projects that are usually available to the public in some capacity.
Some are all for our 40-hours a week and some are just hobby projects. At any rate, I always dig seeing what others are working on.
And since it’s Friday (which is arguably everyone’s favorite day of the week), I thought it may be fun to share some of our work.
So what’s the latest project you’ve been working on? It can be something as simple as a web page or something as complex as a full on application – anything goes.

Worktime – a dynamic document generator that uses PDF or CSV templates to pull in data from various databases and web services and outputs PDF or CSV files for download, print, or email. We’re creating things like receipts, personalized marketing material, auto-generated reports, etc.
Funtime – a daily memory verse quiz app that lets you challenge one or more friends to memorize X Bible verses in Y days/weeks. Winner gets bragging right but also has to memorize verses about being humble. 🙂

The latter sounds infinitely more fun than the first =P

I’m still wrapping up the design for the new PhilCooke.com so I won’t show that yet, but I’m really excited about that too.

Managing my team:
2 public facing sharepoint sites
1 Sharepoint intranet (that is huge)
3 separate complete overhauls using our own Content Management System (each site 500+ pages)
2 Site Strategy/planning (production to come by End of year)
1 Site Governance Policy
Mocking up a new app for our CMS (Craigslist like app for intranet)
Personally:
2 wordpress templated sites that I’m working on for people. Waiting on content at the moment. The templates are built/styled/customized and ready for launch except for content.
Currently thinking about the future of my own blog. May need to shut it down temporarily.
Trying to figure out how to salvage my wife’s typepad blog/content if we decide to shut it down for good.

You’re not busy at all.
