Eh. Not me. What about you?

I am a mean man if I don’t have breakfast. It doesn’t matter how large or small but I need something to get my going. I am grazer throughout the day but I need to start off with something at least or I eat chips etc till lunch!

oh yes. I can’t make it without breakfast.
routine: wake up, spash water on face, eat breakfast while making sandwiches for lunch.
what I eat: I prefer wholewheat pronutro. today it was wholewheat pronutro original with a sliced up banana and 2 tablespoons of some omega3 power, I must say that I have been on this powder for a week and I am beginning to feel cleverer. π

I eat breakfast every day (except for today cuz I was running late haha). I typically eat 1 egg, fried, over 1 piece of toast (no butter). 30 minutes later I’m at the gym for a workout (I workout for 4 minutes a day, 5 days a week, on a special machine called a ROM Machine… google it). When I get to the office at NorthRidge I have a cup of coffee around 9.

My breakfast is very important and specific:
β’ Dempsters Ancient Grain bread (2 slices toasted)
β’ While still hot, spread REAL butter
β’ immediately apply Kraft Smooth Peanut butter
β’ top with a generous portion of E.D. Smith’s strawberry jam
β’ Serve with a latte (1 shot of espresso and steamed milk // Starbucks espresso beans + Saeco Espresso Machine)
My wife can’t stand it, but that’s the breakfast of choice π

I’m definitely a breakfaster.
The most important part is my coffe though. Fresh roasted bi-weekly (by me) ground that morning and brewed for 4 minutes in my french press.
Usually my coffee is accompanied by granola.

I eat a small bowl of cereal every morning. I’m a sucker for anything made by Kashi. (Well, once a week a get breakfast with some old friends. Eggs, toast and grits.) I do think it helps me get started in the morning. Don’t know how much it helps my creative process though.

1 hard boiled egg, 1 piece of fruit when I wake up. An hour later, I’m at the gym for a one hour workout or run. 8 ounces of low-fat chocolate mile as soon as I finish the workout. Afterwards, when I’m in my office, it’s 1 serving of steel cut oats along with some blueberries and walnuts. Keeps me juiced up and ready to go until about noon. When I don’t eat, I know it and am more likely to reach for some high calorie, sugary snack that’s lurking in the church kitchen.
James Cooper says
Generally toast or cereal with a big of strong tea! If I don’t breakfast I’m not in a good shape by 11am. Need my morning pick up.

Breakfast is a must as low blood sugar makes me a terrible grump π

I don’t normally eat breakfast, but I really would like to. In fact, I normally wake up 5 or 10 mins before I have to leave for work!
I love the romance of eating breakfast, having a cup of tea, some nutritionally awesome food, and consuming the word of God. What could be more inspiring than that.
Praying for the drive and maturity to be able to wake up in the morning with enough time to eat both spiritually and physically.
Alyse says
