Logos President and CEO Bob Pritchett said:
“When we started out 20 years ago, it was virtually inconceivable that you could fit a massive library of 25,000 books in the palm of your hand, which is exactly what you can do through our advanced Bible app.”
So true! That’s a lot of books!

If there’s one word to describe the transforming nature of the publishing industry, it’s e-books.
For the first time in U.S. history, e-book sales have surpassed hardcover sales. Soon they will surpass paperback books. Yet for all the hype, public libraries seem to be lagging behind the trend … at least in the eyes of its patrons.

I’m sure you’ve heard of Gideons International. They’ve been around since 1899 and have been dedicated to distributing free Bibles in hospitals, hotel rooms and countries around the world.
In fact, last year alone, Gideons International distributed 80 million Bibles!
However, there’s one hotel that has removed these Gideon Bibles from their 148 rooms and replaced them with Kindles.

College has been completely altered by technology. What was once a time of sitting in the library, researching for papers, and studying to the early hours of morning has shifted completely to a technological path.
Instead of being in the library scanning through book after book and getting a fully comprehensive knowledge (some would say useless) of a topic, we can now simply search what others have found and start from there (though we are beginning to fragment and even misquote content).
