It took me all but 1 second to make the decision: Yup, I had to try out the new Infinity Blade for the iPad to see how far gaming could be taken this mobile device.
And I am not disappointed. In fact, I’m completely blown away.

With the announcement of Google’s new eBookstore there was naturally an app with it, which you can get here.
It will allow you to search around the 2 million and counting catalogue that currently exists and read them on your iPhone and/or iPad.
Page-turning animations come standard. Offline mode is also available.
Fring, a free service for video and voice calls has released an updated using a new type of video technology that they are calling DVQ (Dynamic Video Quality) which does exactly what the title suggests: It can adjust the quality of the conversation and video depending on the bandwidth available.
I love the idea of automatically-adjusting performance and quality and I wish more technology and systems used these types of metering.
And although I haven’t used Fring too much I can easily see myself using these types of things more as the applications get better and better.

I shared a few days ago that I was beginning to try a new personal and closed picture sharing network called Path and so far I’m happy to report that I really like it.
I’ve been using it to share pictures within a very closed network and I’m liking that. In addition, the UI is seriously slick and I’m enamored by the time they’ve spent on designing the application (as well as the web interface).
