As I post this my iPhone is currently downloading 215 megs of sheer awesomeness: Final Fantasy I and Final Fantasy II for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Skype, one of the most popular downloads in the Apple App Store, is apparently going to be coming to 3G.

This fact, that it wasn’t available, miffed me personally for quite some time; I honestly couldn’t believe that the lack of VoIP support over AT&T’s advertised “robust” 3G network has caused more than a few people to go:

I’m not sure if this is a “win” for the morally grounded or just a political play that I’m missing, but Apple has recently taken down more than 5,000 apps that showed a little more skin that perhaps is appropriate.

With all the hype (and then un-hype) about Buzz (check out the Open Thread Discussion), I’ve been thinking and trying to find ways to discover it’s usefulness. Truth be told, a lot of what’s “neat” out there has little value beyond itself.

But Buzz on my mobile device is really pretty slick. Have you tried it yet?

It’s probably what Twitter should have been with a really slick geo-location setup built right in.

Mobile and online giving is going to be used in increasing measure as the technology matures.

myTithe seems to be one of the players that’s going to help spur that progression forward.

I installed the app (get it here, free for a limited time) and was quickly able to create a profile. In fact, I added my ministry in less than 30 seconds.

So far so good.
