Hulu and Netflix are slowing taking over the way I watch television.

No longer do I worry about catching a show when it airs, I simply open my computer and watch when I can. The only issue (and call this an issue of laziness) is when you need to start, stop, fast-forward or change the volume on a show. Usually you have to get up from the couch, mess with your computer and then return to said couch.

Some of the apps that people have created for the iPhone are astounding, and are created by lone-developers who are even more advanced than some of the organizations that you would think should be able to provide awesome apps.

For example, this report here recently shared how a homeowner stopped a burglary by being connected to his house through his iPhone.
