With the sorrowful announcement of the death of Steve Jobs, many are beginning to mourn his loss. A man that believed in a company, pushed for innovation, and desired nothing less than excellence, the technology world will never be the same. In this time of sadness, several websites have dedicated their website as a tribute to the life of Steve, including his company Apple and their rival Google. Here are some screenshots.
Foliobook Portfolio App for the iPad
I recently acquired an iPad2 (which I love) and as a photographer, I was very interested to see what I could do with it as portfolio for my work. Many art directors and editors are accepting iPad portfolio’s (in addition to print and online) to look for new talent. In addition, having a portfolio on hand when meeting with potential clients is pretty cool too.
Developers saw the potential of the iPad as a portfolio device and therefore there are quite a few apps available. There is always a risk with having to put up money for an app, so there’s always a lot of research to do beforehand.
After doing quite a bit of reading reviews and looking at prices, I went with Foliobook. At a cost of $9.99, the price was right and it allows enough customization without it getting tedious making changes.

It’s called, “The World’s First Infinite Bible,” and it has a very unique interface.

Indeed, it is!
As far as e-Bibles go, this is the most organic experience I’ve encountered in electronic form.

It makes a lot of sense. Having member data on-the-go is extremely helpful for ministers and leadership.
Fellowship One has the F1Touch app while ACS Technologies provides an app for ACS Church Life.

How-To Easily Find Email Attachments

It’s like you need a reverse number look-up. Like having all my email messages in one place, can’t I keep all my attachment together?

Classic: Steve Jobs Introduces First iPod [Video]
I absolutely love this video.
Steve Jobs introduces the concept of a portable mp3 player. In a perfect persuasional model, Jobs takes you from start to finish, and ends by pulling the “rabbit out of the hat.”
Whenever I think of Steve Jobs, this is the first thing that comes to mind:
