A lot of what I do really comes down to the tools that I use to collect, manage, and publish data. My Google Reader (GooReader for short) is my information-pipeline to the digital world.
The problem is that to provide adequate “coverage” one has to naturally subscribe to more than a few blogs. It’s a maddening lineup and the vast majority publish 5-10 times a day.
That’s a lot of feeds.
Management of the madness is everything, and to do so my secret weapon is the shortcut keys. I could teach you everything and the process by which I do my data management but if you don’t know the shortcuts you wouldn’t be able to keep up.
What I did was I printed out a copy of this chart and straight-up old school memorized it.
This is the first step to maximizing your GooReader ninja skills. Go young padawan and begin your training.

Nice thanks for the tip. How long does it take you to edit a post you like and post it? Is there a short cut for that?
