I hung out at Mashable’s new TinyChat-powered and Twitter-Enabled Lounge yesterday with an interview between Steve Rubel and Mashable’s Pete Cashmore. [Click the link for a bigger view and to see who’s at the top of the chatroom list.]
I did this mostly to see load and how well TinyChat could manage lots and lots and lots of users.
It performed quite well. And a nice job overall with the design, keeping very much with the “spartan-like” visage that TinyChat sports.
I like that. Sound was an issue at times, but that’s perhaps more of user error than the system.
How are you guys liking TinyChat as an app and service? Your thoughts?

I tried using TinyChat's pro service a few weeks ago but found that there was little support and that signing in was a futile loop that never led me to the actual pro features. I am guessing that they were still working out some of the kinks in their system. I'll probably head back that way in a couple more weeks.

I've got a pro account… still trying to find out where they save the sessions…

I just like TinyChat's interface more than Tokbox. I feel like it has a lot of potential, even if it's still a bit young tech…
