When I first started watching this film, I didn’t know much about it other than it was about the fatherless.
I just thought it was an infographic video until I realized it was about an hour long and the story being told caught my attention.
Sharing this today seemed fitting as we celebrate Father’s Day, and perhaps you’ll feel challenged to volunteer yourself to become a mentor to someone who lacks a father figure in their life. Technology has such a cool factor these days, Church tech guys would be great mentor’s!

This reminds me of what Jeremy Smith talked about on the first ChurchMag podcast. As a youth pastor, he had established a relationship with one of the boys and they spent several weeks building a WordPress plugin together. Awesome, right?
This the kind of seemingly simple things that can be done to make a huge impact on the upcoming generation.
If you would like to learn more about getting involved in The Mentoring Project, you can learn more on their website.
And of course, your church is probably crawling with kids that would love to learn how to run sound, video cameras, slideshows and update the church website. What a great way to build relationships and make an impact!
