There are many different types of leadership styles.
All with the goal of leading others.
It’s easy to over simplify leadership and call a leader a “success” if there are loads of people following them.
Looks can be deceiving.
Perhaps they’re leading many because they have held so many back?
A good leader is interested in replication. Being the hand to pull others up and beyond themselves. They are leaders who are more interested in leading others beyond where they have been, and catapulting them beyond their own reach.

I couldn’t agree more! Love this concept, as a young pastor it is SO EASY to get pulled into the desire for mega-ministry, instead of focusing on the fruit. “Leading beyond myself” is a great way to phrase this idea.
