Creating a virtual host in OSX can be an awesome thing to do, especially if you are doing a spot of development work!
This seems to be a cool little tutorial for getting set up!
Check it out:

So, you want to setup WordPress on your local machine to develop a new project. You setup your virtual server, install, setup, etc … A little ways into the project you realize it might be better done in Drupal or maybe Joomla!? No, definitely not Joomla! What about Ruby? Is there something that could be added to the project with Ruby? It sure would be nice to learn more, but I need to set it up …
Wouldn’t it be nice if you could have multiple Open Source applications just an icon click away?
JumpBox gives you that flexibility!

Robert Scoble is a very lucky man it seems!
He has just published a blog post which talks about a tour that he recently had around Facebook’s new datacenter in Prineville.
It’s pretty special, especially if you are a little bit geeky! See and read more by following the link below:

Smartphone’s are making a splash on Wi-Fi networks, and it’s going to change how we think about wireless access.
Take this, for example:
Westmont College, a liberal arts college campus in Santa Barbara, Calif., showed in a study that nearly 3137 distinct clients connected to the Meraki wireless network in February 2011, and about 10.12 terabytes of data were transferred.
A year ago, the data transferred was about 5.06 TB and a total of 2458 distinct clients used the network in the month. Why? Because there was a sharp increase in the number of iPhones, iPod touches and yes, there were a few iPads too.
I’ve been trying Server Density out for the last 2 weeks and I really like it. They’ve got a great mobile app for the iPhone which is really slick that provides near-real-time stats and even alerts for a number of different settings.
