I freaking love this video (embedded). Although it may, perhaps, offend a few who are a little bit more “stuffy” in their wedding ceremony approach, it’s funny and very fun.
I’d like to think that we can all take ourselves a little less seriously when it comes to the use of web technology and social media. I’ve told this to countless people before and I’ll say it again: If you’re not actually having fun using the darn stuff then don’t use it!
I think this especially applies (and is especially important) in business and it’s use for organizations. Using social media shouldn’t be a “drag,” although surely it can be hard work at times. But, in the end, it should be fun.
Live a little.

A pastor friend of mine officiates a good amount of weddings. He always attempts to clear it with the bride & groom if he can tweet during the ceremony.
Many are appalled.
Some say yes and think it's a hilarious idea.
He loves it.

I'll ask him about that & to get in contact with you. I think it's been a bit, but surely he'll have some stories.

Love it. I pulled out my iPhone during my wedding ceremony and read my vows from it. Nobody was expecting it. My wife thought I got a phone call and was going to answer it.
