This look at the differences between Orwell’s 1984 and Huxley’s Brave New World is very fascinating.
But, the bigger point may be that being in the world oppose to of the world looks different today than it did twenty years ago…

I saw a similar cartoon recently (but less detailed, it was only two slides) but it posed the question “which dystopia are we in/heading towards”. I would guess that the truth is more complex that both are really what we are being controlled by. That Governments seek to use pleasure and pain as control mechanisms.
