Apparently a study has shown that 26% of apps that are downloaded are never used more than once (or after the initial “try”).
Localytics studied the thousands of Android, iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry and Windows Phone 7 apps using its real-time app analytics service.
For all new customers of an app in 2010, Localytics looked for the first time each customer used the app and whether or not there was any follow-on usage through January 26, 2011.
All one-time uses of apps were grouped into the quarter they occurred and calculated as a percentage of all new customers in the same quarter.
I was rummaging through my apps and I’ve realized that there are very few apps on my iPhone that I don’t use consistently, with the exception of a few games.
How about you?

There are a lot that i have used once. But they get deleted.

I just wrote a post about which apps I ACTUALLY use: http://www.adamincolumbus.com/2011/01/31/iphone-apps-that-i-actually-use/
Jimmy King says
I keep an arbitrary limit on how many apps I keep on my iPhone at any time, and it makes me constantly review what apps I need installed.
