Early adopters and the businesses that create innovative products are easy to criticize because they are simply doing things that aren’t “normal” or accepted.
But the fine line between healthy, constructive criticism and being negative is super-thin. In fact, we here at 8BIT and especially ChurchDrop must balance that fine line consistently because the products that we review are at the “edge” of anything but normal.
I love being funny, sarcastic, and a bit rude just like everyone else does. In fact, on one hand it’s just part of the internet culture that we live in. But I never want to compromise our mission of providing valuable content and creating exceptional value at the cost of limiting or tearing down a business, product, or organization.
It just isn’t worth it.
Negativity is too prevalent already, too easily created, and too easily passed on. Let’s be passionate about positivity.
Thanks Tony for the great reminder this morning.

Word. Reminds me of something moms tell their kids: if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
