Groups Interactive is an intuitive and powerful search tool that helps visitors to your website search for and connect with your groups.
Churches and ministries can quickly upload their information into the Groups Interactive console and then embed the console directly into their existing website. With no login for your members and no complicated data migration it’s a simple and affordable way for your church members to get connected to a small group!
Here are the top 5 features that they list:
- Visual Search – Allow visitors to your site to search for a group by zip code or group type (men’s groups, women’s groups, bible study, or whatever you define). You can even choose specific groups to feature in the system to draw more visitors to those groups.
- Secure and Confidential – They understand and respect the security needs of your groups. That’s why, when a visitor uses Groups Interactive to search for one of your groups, they can see only the general location of the group. The specific address is not given to them unless they contact the group leader or the church and requests it.
- Embeddable in Your Website – The entire search tool in embeddable straight into your website. No more complicated links or outside websites. Groups Interactive integrates quickly and easily into your site.
- Easy to Manage – Importing your groups into Groups Interactive is a simple and quick process. It even works alongside your church management system such as ACS, Fellowship One or Shelby, leveraging their tools for managing groups without creating a separate “silo” of data for you to manage. It also integrates quickly with email marketing programs such as Constant Contact or Mail Chimp.
- Low Price – It’s a no brainer at $25 per month, and with no sign up fees, Groups Interactive fits into any church’s budget. Contact us for Special Pricing.

We have used Groups Interactive as our go-to platform to organize our small-group ministry for about 2 years. Unfortunately, we have found the Groups Interactive website (powered by Upper Room Technologies) to be very poorly developed, with a number of bugs and coding issues. Tech Support and Development associates from Upper Room Technologies were difficult to get in contact with, and somewhat less than helpful. In the course of 24 months, we reported a vast amount of issues and bugs with the Groups Interactive website, but nothing was ever fixed, corrected, or even communicated to us.
