Apparently The Lion of Judah will be the 1st ever animated, 3D, kids, Christian movie to ever hit theaters, according to their publisher Kross Publishing. Sierra White, one of their promoters shared with me this:
The Lion of Judah has been referred to as the Passion of Christ for kids and focuses on teaching kids the message of the Cross and Jesus’ death.
Wow, that’s some fighting words!
It’ll be interesting to see how it does in the theaters. It’s due out in time for Easter of this year.

they better clean up those graphics before the release for it to stand a chance these days… imo… and someone slipped up and allowed comic sans on the font page of their website :X
Wes Molebash says
I agree with Drew. The graphics and character designs look terrible. I don’t like sounding like a “hater”, but this film is going to get lost in the shuffle.
As for “Lion of Judah” being the 1st 3D animated Christian movie, what about VeggieTales? Weren’t there a couple VeggieTales movies released in theaters? Those films have much more production value than what we see in this trailer.
Chris says
Hello? Have these people already forgotten about the VeggieTales Jonah movie that was a 3D, animated, kids, christian movie to be released in theaters?
Timothy says
Yeah I agree. The graphics are poorly done and it looks low budget but the heart of the movie looks great. thanks for sharing.
