If you have an iPad then this app is a must have for you.
And if you were ever wondering if the iPad could seriously be taken as a gaming platform then let me assure you that you can stick a fork in it, cause the question is cooked and done.
Epic Citadel, built by Epic Games, is literally a showcase of technological awesomesauce: You can’t fight or kick or kill zombies, but you can walk around a beautiful landscape, castle, and surrounding places.
It’s an opportunity for Epic to show-off how they’ve been able to harness the power of the iPad for the next-gen and future of gaming.
It’s paid off, because I can’t wait to see what they cook up with the Unreal Technology (who here played Unreal Tournament?!?).
These screenshots that I took do not do any of it justice. You have to literally see and experience it for yourself:

My daughter pointed this one out to me. Beautiful graphics and very smooth motion.

Epic is trying to take of the world with their engine… Wait they have. But iD Software’s games look just better. Besides Rage and all it’s MegaTexture (it’s really not overrated) goodness is coming to an iphone near you late this year early next year!
