Dropbox is continuing to add even more improvements as they’ve released their official 1.0 version. The biggest win that the world is not-so-quietly rejoicing in is “selective” sync, the ability to simply choose which folders you want to sync on any one of your computers:
If you have a netbook or a computer with a tiny hard drive, syncing your entire Dropbox isn’t always a great idea. You also might not want certain files on your home computer to pop up on your work computer. Selective Sync solves these problems!
You now can choose which folders get downloaded to which computers. This saves you time so you don’t have to sync stuff you don’t need.
I’ve been waiting for this since it first came out.
Their software has since become a staple in my workflow; I couldn’t imagine life without it.
